Start/Stop Service

You will need to work with EMWD’s Customer Service department to start/stop water and/or sewer service to the property that has an existing connection.

Start Service

Before filling out the form to begin water service, please review EMWD's Water Service Area and EMWD's Wastewater Service Area maps to make sure that you live within EMWD’s service area.

Submit a Start Service Request Form online.

You may also download, print and complete EMWD's Service Request and Release Forms (Spanish). You can then mail, fax or email the completed forms to EMWD.

Stop Service

Accounts are not closed automatically unless the new customer calls in for service.

To close an account, we require five (5) business days notice to cancel your service. It is your responsibility to request that your account be closed.

Submit a Stop Service Request Form online.

You may also download, print and complete EMWD's Service Request Form. You can then mail, fax or email it to EMWD.

New Construction Only – Apply for New Water Service Connection

You will need to work with the EMWD’s Development Services department to start the process of obtaining a water and/or sewer connection to your property. 

To apply for a new water service connection installation, please download, print and complete the following form:
