Start/Stop Service

You will need to work with EMWD’s Customer Service department to start/stop water and/or sewer service to the property that has an existing connection.

Before filling out the form to begin water service, please review EMWD's Water Service Area and EMWD's Wastewater Service Area maps to make sure that you live within EMWD’s service area.

Stop Service/Move Out Application

Accounts are not closed automatically unless the new customer calls in for service.

To close an account, we require five (5) business days notice to cancel your service. It is your responsibility to request that your account be closed.

Login to My Account and navigate to Forms to submit a STOP SERVICE / MOVE OUT APPLICATION.

New Construction Only – Apply for New Water Service Connection

You will need to work with EMWD’s Development Services department to start the process of obtaining a water and/or sewer connection to your property.

To apply for a new water service connection installation, please contact us at 951-928-3777, ext. 2081.  Please ensure to have the following information ready prior to calling:

  • Assessor Parcel Number (APN)
  • Service Address
