SoCal Water$mart Commerical Programs & Rebates
SoCal Water$mart offers a variety of commercial rebates to help businesses, multi-family properties, and institutions reduce water use and operating costs by upgrading to high-efficiency equipment.
Indoor Rebates
Rebates are available for:
- High-efficiency toilets and urinals
- Irrigation controllers and sprinkler nozzles
- Food service equipment
- Clothes washers
Indoor rebates are available for commercial and multi-family properties. Applications must be submitted online only. Visit www.socalwatersmart.com for full eligibility details, guidelines, and terms.
Outdoor Rebates
Outdoor rebates are available for:
- Commercial properties and common areas in townhomes, condominiums, mobile home parks, and apartment complexes
- Turf Replacement Program: Replace high-maintenance grass with drought-tolerant landscaping to lower water and maintenance costs.
- On-Site Retrofit Program: Incentives are provided for converting potable irrigation or industrial water systems to recycled water use—$195 per acre-foot for five years of estimated water use (up to actual retrofit cost).

- Funding is limited: Applications are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability of funds.
- Submitting a reservation or application does not guarantee approval or payment.
