Preliminary Bonding Estimate: $11 – $19 Million
Project Location: Cities of San Jacinto and Hemet. Pipeline located along Esplanade Avenue, Sanderson Avenue, and Commonwealth Avenue between Warren Road and Kirby Street. The flow control and chlorination facility is located near the intersection of Esplanade Avenue and Warren Road.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Schedule A/B: Transmission Pipeline Phase 1 and San Jacinto Valley Feeder Cathodic Protection Improvements
General Contractors must demonstrate the satisfactory completion, as a prime general engineering contractor of at least three (3) similar projects within the last ten (10) years, of projects meeting the following requirements:
A. Contract Type: Public Works
B. Construction Type: 48-inch diameter or larger pressurized water transmission pipelines including valves, fittings, and related appurtenances; and Cathodic Protection equipment. At least one project shall be cement mortar lined and coated welded steel pipe.
C. Valve: $8 million or greater

- Schedule A/B: EM-25 Service Connection and Flow Control and Chlorination Facility
General Contractors must demonstrate the satisfactory completion, as a prime general engineering contractor, of at least three (3) similar projects within the last ten (10) years, of projects meeting the following requirements:
A. Contract Type: Public Works
B. Construction Type: 24-inch diameter and larger valves with electric motor actuator, 24-inch diameter and larger control valve, chemical metering facilities and related civil structural, electrical, instrumentation, controls; previous work experience with Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) is preferred.
C. Valve: $2 million or greater
General Contractors failing to meet these minimum requirements will be rejected and will not be prequalified. In addition, each General Contractor will be evaluated utilizing the factors listed on the prequalification rating chart made a part of this package.
