Perris, CA (June 15, 2022) — Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) has released its annual Consumer Confidence Report, which provides science-based information about EMWD’s water quality and sources from the 2021 calendar year.

EMWD has again met and surpassed all state and federal drinking water standards set forth by the State Water Resources Control Board and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

In 2021, EMWD tested for 206 contaminants and impurities in its 31 drinking water sources. EMWD collected 9,212 water samples and performed 39,363 tests to monitor and ensure quality.

“EMWD is proud to once again publish its comprehensive and data-driven water quality report that shows our commitment to delivering high-quality water service to nearly 1 million customers in our service area,” EMWD Board President Phil Paule said. “We hope our customers will take the opportunity to learn more about their high-quality drinking water supplies that are detailed in this report.”

The annual report is issued electronically and is available online at www.emwd.org/ccr. All customers will receive a postcard informing them about the report. Customers who wish to receive a printed copy may request one by contacting EMWD at 951-928-3777, ext. 3430.
