Indian Street Pipeline Replacement Project

Post

Project Description:  The project consists of replacing an existing water pipeline that is nearing the end of its useable life by installing approximately 1,500 feet of 12-inch pipe along Indian Street in Moreno Valley.

Project Location:  The project alignment stretches along Indian Street between Ironwood Avenue and Hemlock Street.

Project Timeline:  The project is set to begin construction in the Summer/Fall 2022 and is set to finish in the Summer of 2023.  Please note that the construction timelines are rough estimates as the industry continues to work through supply chain issues.

Project Purpose:  The project will increase water flow and reliability for nearly 8,000 customers in the City of Moreno Valley.

Project Update (as of June 8, 2022):

  • On-site work is anticipated to begin in late August 2022; due to a delay in obtaining pipe, this date is a rough estimate.  The community will be notified as more information is received.
