Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is offering an increased rebate for turf replacement! Earn $4 per square foot, up to 5,000 square feet of converted yard (residential) through the SoCal Water$mart turf replacement program.

EMWD customers are eligible for funding if they remove grass and replace it with climate appropriate landscaping and a qualifying ground cover such as rock, mulch, or decomposed granite. 

Customers are required to apply for funding and receive approval prior to beginning work at their property. A full listing of program terms, as well as the online application, may be found at SoCal Water$mart.

But hurry, funding is limited. Approval of rebate applications will be on a first-come, serve basis and subject to funding availability. Submitting a reservation request or application does not guarantee approval or payment.
