Murrieta Road Booster Station

EMWD’s Murrieta Road Booster Station, just north of Ethanac Road in the City of Perris, has reached the end of its useful lifespan. EMWD will be constructing a new booster station just north of Watson Road and then decommission and remove its existing booster station.

Work is anticipated to begin in early 2024 and will be completed in late 2025.

Well 56 & 57 Treatment Facilities

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is seeking funding to construct a PFAS removal treatment system at either Well 56 or Well 57 in Perris, CA.

PFAS are per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances, which are a class of chemicals resistant to heat, water and oil that have been used in consumer products. These chemicals are often found in the environment and pose a public health risk.
