National Award Recognizes the Essential Contributions of EMWD's Purchasing and Contracts Department

Perris, CA (September 10, 2024) — Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) has been honored with the National Procurement Institute’s 2024 Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award for the 11th consecutive year.
This prestigious annual award is earned by organizations that demonstrate excellence by embracing innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and procurement leadership in its commitment to acquiring quality goods and services at the best value.
EMWD was one of 25 special districts in North America to receive the award.
EMWD’s Purchasing and Contracts department procures a wide range of critical supplies and services that allow it to function efficiently to help serve nearly 1 million customers across its service area. The award recognizes the use of industry best practices when sourcing materials, supplies and contractors.
