About the Contest

This is a class-based, teacher-directed project. Students may work alone or in groups of no more than two.

Students will brainstorm and develop a video depicting a story about careers in the water and wastewater industry.

Students will research and create an engaging video that:

  • highlights three different career paths within the water and wastewater industry
  • specifies the education and skills needed for each career
  • describes the benefits of working in the water and wastewater industry
  • builds a fun and engaging storyline rather than just stating facts
  • concludes by linking to preparing and planning for a career in the water industry while still in school to set a clear path to achieve this goal
