Elementary Field Trips and Tours
EMWD’s Education program offers field trips and classroom presentations for students in grade levels 3-12 from the 11 school districts and private schools within its service area. Each field trip is limited to a maximum of 35 students and requires a teacher plus three chaperones to attend. Classroom presentations can be in-person or virtual in-lieu of a field trip. We have three field trips and three classroom presentation options available. Field trips range from 1 hour to 3.5 hours.

Wastewater Facility: This tour ranges from one hour to three and half hours depending on customizable options. The tour is of a reclamation facility located in San Jacinto, CA. Students will learn the process of turning wastewater into recycled water. Wastewater Field Trip available on Wednesdays.
