EMWD Launches Digital Wallet to Expand Online Payment Options

Press Release

Perris, CA (April 18, 2024) — Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) customers now have additional ways to pay their water bills.

This month, EMWD debuted a new feature that allows customers to pay their bills through digital wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo. In the first week of the program, more than 500 customers used the new service to pay their bills.

Customers can log in to their EMWD MyAccount portal or use the QuickPay button to utilize these new payment options, using saved payment information and existing login for their preferred payment service to pay their bill.

“It is important that we stay current with modern technology,” EMWD Board Director Jeff Armstrong said. “This allows us to meet our customers in the space that is most convenient for them while still ensuring a safe and efficient method to make payments.”
