New Project Updates Available (as of April 17, 2024)

Project Timeline:  The project began construction in January 2024 and is set to finish in the Fall of 2024.  Please note that the construction timelines are rough estimates as the industry continues to work through supply chain issues.

Project Purpose:  The project will increase sewer capacity and reliability to accommodate growth in the City of Moreno Valley.

Project Update (as of April 17, 2024):

  • Crews continue to work at the intersection of Iris Avenue and Kitching Street.
    • Working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • In the coming weeks, crews will continue work out of the intersection and north on Kitching Street (weather-permitting).

        • Traffic control plans are reviewed and approved by the City of Moreno Valley.
        • Traffic control may include delays, detours, temporary side-street closures, lane closures, temporary no-street parking, and access to sidewalks and bike lanes may be temporarily unavailable.
        • After each workday, crews will be leaving streets in a drivable state with final paving set to occur at the conclusion of the Project, after all pipeline is installed.
        • Please be on the lookout and use caution for crew members traveling the area with large machinery as they make their way to and from the project area.
  • Please note: All work is weather-permitting and may extend the schedule of activities.
