Our Mission...
The mission of EMWD's Education Program is to foster understanding of water and wastewater issues and to promote wise water use among the future leaders of our community.

To accomplish our mission, EMWD supports an extensive education program designed to provide a useful academic experience at all grade levels (k-12).

If your school is in the EMWD service area, and you would like to teach your students about water, EMWD has books, videos, lesson plans and much, much more!

New: Write-off Contest Read all about our latest contest for middle school students.
Gobi's Adventure This new book is hitting local elementary schools for educational, artistic, and water awareness purposes! The book was written by Lucas Pfeiffer, a 6th grade student at Margarita Middle School in Temecula with illustrations by Kayleigh Frederick, also a 6th grader at Margarita Middle School. The printing of the book was sponsored in part by Rancho California Water District and with Community Partnering Program funds through the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
