FREE High Efficiency Toilet Direct Install Program

Save WATER & Save MONEY year after year by changing your old water guzzling toilet (pre-1994) to the
new High Efficiency Toilets (HET). For a limited time only, this program provides:

• Free HET Toilet (includes seat)
• Free Installation
• Disposal of your old toilet

Under this program, California Water Conservation Company (CWCC), a California  Plumbing Licensed (License # 706798) company will Install Highly Rated High Efficiency Toilets.

Eligibility Guidelines:

• Participants must be retail, residential water customers who receive their water bills directly from Eastern Municipal Water District.
• Participants must have individual residential EMWD water billing account number.
• Participants must be replacing an older toilet that flushes 3.5 gpf (gallons per flush or more).
• Only toilets in your residence where EMWD directly provides water service, are eligible

Free Landscape Workshops

Our popular landscape workshops concentrate on areas of special concern for Southern California homeowners. This year, workshops will be held at various home improvement centers within EMWD’s service area. Workshops are FREE. The next set of workshops will be held in Fall 2008.

 

Free Conservation Packet

EMWD offers a free Conservation Packet to all customers who request one. This informative packet is packed with water-saving ideas, tips, and techniques.

Free Residential Water Survey

A water survey by conservation specialists is free to qualified EMWD residential customers.

The survey includes the following:

• A complete evaluation of how water is being used in your home.
• A complete evalution of your irrigation system.
• Free low flow fixtures such as shower heads and faucet aerators.
• Detection of any leaks.
• Information on rebates offered by EMWD

Conservation specialists will set up an appointment for a specific date and time, and will spend about an hour at your home. They will evaluate your water use practices indoors and outdoors and will make specific recommendations that will help you use less water.
