About the Convenience Fee

The convenience fee is assessed by EMWD for providing the ability to perform real-time Internet transactions in an easy, secure and reliable manner. The fee reimburses EMWD for most of the cost associated with providing this service.

There is no convenience fee to pay your bill online or by using the Interactive Voice Response system by calling (951) 928-3777. The convenience fee for processing credit card payments over the phone with a customer service representative is now $5.00.  The increase reflects necessary bank and overhead charges to provide this service.
